Tim Ferrick is the President of Round 2 Environmental, bringing over three decades of experience in waste management and environmental services. Since entering the industry in 1989, Tim has built a reputation for delivering reliable, scalable solutions for both large corporations and small businesses. Prior to founding Round II Environmental, he successfully owned and operated another environmental company, which he later sold after years of growth and impact.
In 2023, Tim launched Round 2 Environmental with a vision to provide responsive, high-quality environmental services. Under his leadership, the company expanded in 2025, broadening its capabilities and reach across hazmat compliance, industrial cleanup, and environmental remediation. Tim’s strategic insight, operational expertise, and commitment to environmental stewardship continue to drive the company’s success and reputation in the field.
Jason Miltenberger is a veteran Project Manager with over 28 years of experience in the environmental response and remediation industry. Since entering the field in 1995, Jason has led and contributed to more than 1,000 site cleanups, 1,500 abandoned drum and spill responses, and over 500 clandestine drug lab cleanups. His career includes pivotal roles in national disaster responses, including the Deepwater Horizon Gulf Oil Spill and the post-Hurricane Katrina cleanup efforts, where he applied his expertise under extreme conditions.
Jason’s leadership spans emergency response management, hazardous waste operations, demolition oversight, and complex remediation projects. He has supervised high-profile operations such as:
Jason holds numerous certifications, including OSHA HAZWOPER, Chlorine Response Supervisor, and a former Oregon DEQ Response Supervisor. He is a former licensed drug lab supervisor, certified HDPE pipe welder, and experienced heavy equipment operator. His deep field knowledge, calm leadership in high-risk environments, and commitment to environmental safety make him a trusted figure in emergency response and remediation.
Dakota Mingus is a seasoned Project Manager specializing in hazmat emergency response, industrial cleanup, and environmental remediation. He began his career as a Hazmat Technician in 2018 and quickly advanced to Emergency Response Supervisor by 2019, leading crews through austere operations ranging from minor fuel spills to large-scale chemical incidents. In 2020, Dakota joined the fire service in his hometown, expanding his commitment to public safety and emergency response.

Hazmat cleanup following the Holiday Farm Fire (2020) – a major wildfire event requiring coordinated environmental response.
Evraz Steel Mill Explosion (2021) – overseeing containment and remediation efforts in a complex industrial setting.
Pawnee Power Plant Fire (2021) – serving as a private firefighter and hazmat supervisor during a critical infrastructure emergency.
Rum Creek Fire deployment (2022) – mobilized under Oregon’s Conflagration Act as a municipal firefighter to support wildfire suppression in Merlin, Oregon.
With a deep understanding of environmental hazards and a proven track record of managing complex response efforts, Dakota is dedicated to protecting communities and restoring environments with precision, leadership, and care.
With over 15 years of experience in the hazardous waste and environmental services industry, Zach brings expertise, dedication, and a hands-on approach to every project. Starting in 2009, he has worked across a wide range of environmental sectors — from emergency spill response and site remediation to regulatory compliance and hazardous materials management. Throughout his career, Zach has developed a reputation for problem-solving in high-pressure situations, building strong client relationships, and staying up to date with evolving environmental regulations and best practices. Whether coordinating large-scale cleanup efforts or consulting on waste minimization strategies, he is committed to protecting both people and the planet. When not in the field or navigating compliance documentation, Zach enjoys going to watch his son’s baseball games, playing hockey, and weekend trips.
